My story

Sandy is a three-year-old female Terrier mix who is tiny and sweet. She was brought in as a stray and is currently a little underweight but just in her short time with us she is looking better and better. It’s amazing what a little TLC and tasty food can do. She is fairly small in size but she wags with her whole butt. We don’t know much about her previous life, but it is only going to get better going forward! She is looking for a family to love and treasure her and show her what a real forever home looks like. She is learning to walk on a leash and is looking to learn more things too! She loves to play and gets along with her run mates wonderfully. Sandy is heartworm positive but please don’t let that scare you off from adopting her. This is a treatment we can handle right here at the shelter after you adopt her. Sandy is a good girl with a big heart and she’s ready to tag along on all your adventures and snuggle up with you at night, might you have a little extra space?

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sandy, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
