IDGSR Welcomes CANBERRA into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hiya! My name is Canberra, Cami for short, and I'm a beautiful 1.5yr Shepherd mix gal. I am located near Memphis TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts: Age - 1.5yr old Home - ideally a home with a fenced in yard Kids - will do okay with older kids (12+) Dogs - good with large dogs, NO small dogs Cats - NO cats Training - needs standard obedience training 1. I was living with a homeless man since I was a little puppy. He took care of me the best he could. He knew I deserved a better life and let me go to this great rescue! 2. I get along great with dogs and would love a pupper companion to play with. 3. I am a happy go lucky girl with a wonderful temperament. I am playful, smart, curious, cuddly, and lovely. 4. I know basic manners and commands. I know 'sit, quiet, be gentle, wait' and can walk nicely on a leash! I could probably use an obedience refresher, it will also help us bond! 5. I absolutely love to play with balls, toys, stuffed animals, and loveys! I don't really like to share my toys so it's best to keep an eye on me, to make sure I behave like a lady. 6. If you are not 100% ready to adopt, please wait** ************** ***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION*** -ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted -We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply -All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered -Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter -An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog -Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY -Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications -All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time -Not able to adopt?
