My story

**The first step to adopting from MO Min Pin Rescue, is to complete the online adoption application. A good vet reference and heartworm prevention are required. We do not arrange transport, and you will be responsible for coming to us to get your dog. Adoption Application link: https://www.mominpinrescue.org/p/adoption-application_30.html ** Raygun is a 5-year-old neutered Min Pin Mix. He is mostly through with house training but does need a consistent routine to keep this up. Likes: cuddles (he is a burrower!), sleeping in, chewing bones, playing chase, walks and sniffing! On the fence about: toys, strange dogs and people, cold weather. Dislikes: cats, vacuum cleaners, nail trims, anyone too forward, and Amazon trucks. Raygun has begun training to work on his dislikes, but they should be considered by his future family. His biggest issue is underconfidence - he may act tough sometimes but deep down he’s a little fearful. He will do wonderful with a family who takes charge of his training. Raygun would do well with proper introduction to older children but will likely not do well with small children. He is dog-friendly but also needs a proper introduction. Ray can be protective of his space and bones, so a passive dog would make a great companion. He growls when seeing dogs and people at a distance but is very pliable in these situations, especially for treats! My favorite thing about this dog is his affectionate nature. He has an independent streak but mainly he wants to be with his people, cuddle up on the couch, snooze under the blankets, and generally have your attention. He likes to explore and sniff and could make a great sporting dog in scent detection or agility with proper training. His interest in toys is developing by watching the other dogs with them. I think as his confidence grows we will see more interest in playing with toys. Currently located with his foster in Imperial, MO and his adoption fee is $275.00.
