Meet Darren!This sweet, soulful pup is ready to find his forever family. At around 42 pounds, Darren is a mellow, lower-energy boy who could use a little extra TLC—and maybe a few extra snacks—to fill out and feel his best.Darren hasn’t quite been himself during his stay at the shelter, so we suspect his true personality will start to blossom once he`s in the comfort of a loving home. What we do know? He’s incredibly gentle, treat-motivated (cheese and Goldfish are his favorites!), and takes treats with the softest mouth. He’ll even sit without being asked if he knows a snack is coming his way.Darren has done well meeting other dogs, especially those who share his calm, gentle play style. He’s happy to soak up whatever affection you’re willing to give and asks for very little in return.If you`re looking for a calm, sweet companion who just needs a chance to shine, Darren may be the perfect fit.
