My story
Our adorable tripod Liza is still looking for her forever home! Liza is a petite lab mix at only 28 pounds and is around 1 year old. Her leg had to be amputated when she went in for an FHO surgery and her surgeon discovered that her pelvic shape could not support the leg. She has been healing very well and adjusting great to her new tripod life! She lives a happy and playful life, but ideally will have a forever home with minimal or no stairs to reduce the stress on her other joints. Liza can still be a bit timid on leash and with new people, so ideally her forever home will have a fenced yard and a doggie friend or two as she is her most confident with other pups around!
