My story

Courtesy Post – Max Needs a Loving Home! Meet Max, a beautiful 5-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who was saved from a high-kill shelter just in time. A kind rescuer pulled him out to spare his life, but now Max needs a forever home where he can truly decompress, feel safe, and experience love. Max had a rough time at the shelter—he was scared, shut down, and overwhelmed by the noisy, stressful environment. Despite that, he remained gentle and allowed handling. Now that he's out, he deserves a patient and understanding adopter who can help him come out of his shell at his own pace. What we know about Max: 🐾 Approximately 5 years old 🐾 58 lbs of sweetness 🐾 Shy and reserved, but gentle 🐾 Needs a calm, loving home where he can feel secure Max is currently in a temporary foster situation, but he needs a forever home or a committed foster who can give him time to blossom.
