My story

Sweet, happy, playful Kerry looking for love. He is a smart boy and picking up potty, leash and command training like a champ! Kerry is a well mannered, good boy, he has been working hard on his training and doing a great job. ✅ dog friendly (even Dipsy accepted him so quickly ) ✅Human, kid friendly ✅ quiet, no bark even when playing ✅Treat motivated (easy to train) ✅He knows sit (i heard he knows more than sit but he is still new here) ✅ no accidents in the house (potty trained per his previous foster ) ✅He sleeps in his crate at night with the door open, he cried a little but i ignored him. ✅ plays nice Five adorable young puppies left for dead but found by Uber driver who brought them to the shelter. They were so weak, emaciated, tiny and in need of emergency care. After ER and loving foster homes, they are thriving and getting the nutrition and love they need and deserve. Adopting puppies is exciting and can be one of the most loving experiences. Puppies are young and cute, they are energetic, eager to learn, eager to please, happy, and exuberant. But it requires a significant commitment by their humans. While training puppies you need time, patience, consistency, routine and lots of love. Providing these essential elements helps them grow into well-adjusted, happy, and healthy furever companions. While we don't want to discourage anyone from adopting a puppy and want to continue to save more, we want the ones adopted to be successful in their homes. We have a large amount of resources available to help families navigate their lives with a new puppy. All Dallas Dog adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon finalizing adoption. Puppies adopted under the age of five months require a spay/neuter contract, and all dogs are required to be spayed by six months unless otherwise medically noted. Our dogs are currently on heartworm preventative. Puppies receive 3 to 4 rounds of vaccinations depending on their age, and adults receive two rounds unless they've been with us longer than a year, in which case they receive the booster update.
