My story

Shirley is currently undergoing treatment for Heartworm. The injections are painful, and it's a costly treatment. She'll be able to go home, if adopted, around mid-July. She is food and treat motivated and loves toys. Shirley is still on the shy side and is slowly learning to trust people again. She was brought to us by a sheriff after her owner was evicted from her rental property. She was in a neglectful situation where she had multiple litters per year - Butterscotch, Carmela and Pancake (different litter) are all her pups. Shirley is currently in Texas, but once adopted, will be transported to the NJ area.
