My story

Please contact Jessie Cheng (jessie.cheng@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.Beautiful mama needs a forever home!POOH SHIESTY NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!  Name: Pooh Shiesty     Best Guess for Breed: Domestic Short Hair  Best Guess for Age: 2 years (Est. DOB: 2/5/23)  Sex: Female Approximate Weight: 8 lbs Coloring: Black   Type of Hair: Short Gets Along With:  With proper integration, Pooh Shiesty will likely get along with other cats, dogs & kids! We're happy to help with tips & tricks. Currently Living at:   Foster home in the DC area! I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Pooh Shiesty, and I am a sweet kitty! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be myself. What My Foster Says About Me:  4/6 -- Today she made a big step and started exploring the entire apartment on her own instead of staying in her safe place in the bathroom. She of course stopped for many pets along the way (she is the absolute sweetest). Seeing as to how she's been with me for roughly a month now, Pooh needs a while to get used to new spaces and to understand that she is safe. Because of this she would do really well with a patient and quiet family that will take the time to show her so much love as she slowly gets acclimated. As she starts playing and showing her colors outside of her safe area, I am getting more and more excited! I just want to make sure that her future family is the right fit and can help her blossom even more! 4/20 -- shy no longer; after a month in foster's home her personality blossomed; plays with toys and loves pets4/29 -- Absolute sweetheart; favorite activities are lounging on a window sill, zooming through the house chasing a toy, or curling up on the couch next to you; Comes running if she hears her name or smells food; If you work from home beware she will distract you by giving you head nudges and rubbing against your legs! Took her around a month to settle in with her fosters but now that she has she is a dream cat with a delightful personality - fosters very proud of her TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this cat is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together), which includes the cost of routine vetting.  If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online   at bit.ly/adoptaluckycat  Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the cats we have for adoption.
