My story

Please contact Lauren McCarty (laurenmc@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.Sweetheart, Rose, looking for her forever family!ROSE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!       Name: Rose   Best Guess for Breed: Domestic Short Hair Age: 5 years old Estimated DOB: 2/4/2020 SEX: Female      Approximate Weight:  8.6 lb  Coloring: gray tabby  Type of Hair: Short  Gets Along With: Because of her young age, Rose will likely get along with other cats, dogs and kids with an acclimation period.  We’re happy to help with tips and tricks! Currently Living at: Foster in the DC area I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Rose, and I am a cute little kitten! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self.  What my Foster Says About Me: Update: Rose is getting sweeter by the day! She is getting more and more cuddly but has always been an independent girl who dictates her own schedule and loves to sunbathe and especially sleep in the funniest positions! She is happy to curl up on your lap with a blanket and as always is very chatty. :) Rose has been a joy to foster. Rose would be a great fit for someone looking for a chill cat who spends most of her day napping and loves to snuggle in bed. She will happily climb on your lap or legs in bed if you put a blanket on yourself. The heated blanket is her favorite. She also loves to make biscuits - another one of her favorite pastimes. She has great litter box manners and doesn’t get into trouble. She is learning with positive reinforcement to use her scratchers instead of a chair. I give her a treat whenever she uses her scratcher. Don’t let her face scare you away - Rose is a sweet girl!   Kitten Vetting Requirements: Your kitten may not be fully vaccinated upon adoption.  You will be responsible for providing whatever remaining vaccines are needed to complete the kitten vaccine series.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together). The adoption fee for a kitten (under 7 months old) is $220 ($380 for two kittens adopted together). If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckycat. Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the cats we have for adoption. That said, we cannot make any guarantees about age, breed or temperament. Thank you for contacting Lucky Dog Animal Rescue and helping to save a life! Please visit us online at   www.luckydoganimalrescue.org .  BE A FOSTER!!!   Fosters make it possible for Lucky Dog Animal Rescue to save and care for homeless and abandoned dogs! To learn about fostering, please contact   fostering@luckydoganimalrescue.org    BE A SPONSOR!!!!   Sponsors help Lucky Dog support the many dogs we save.  To learn more about sponsorship, please contact     info@luckydoganimalrescue.org   !  May 21, 2025, 12:23 pm
