My story

***Currently located in Baja California, Mexico*** Hi there, my name is Kira.I used to live in a home with my family, but my original owner sadly passed away a few years ago. After that, there was nobody to care for me, so I lived on the street, grateful for the food kind neighbors would give to me. I became pregnant several times, but it was hard for my babies to survive in the street and many of them also passed away. As I’m sure you can understand, I became very depressed.One day, a very kind man noticed me and brought me to safety. Now, I feel like I have a new lease on life. I’m looking for a family who understands the hardships I have experienced and is ready to give me all the love I have missed out on. I am very calm and mellow, and my energy level is pretty mild. I do very well with other dogs and children - I love to make friends with everyone, dog and human.
