My story

Quick Facts Name: Maison Age: 5 years old Gender: Female Neutered/Sprayed: Yes Breed: Russell Terrier Mix  Color: White & Brown & Black Weight: 13kg   All About Me Hi, I’m Maison! I’m a five-year-old Russell Terrier mix, weighing 13kg. I was rescued from a shelter where I was at risk of euthanasia, but now I have a second chance at finding a loving home. I’m a friendly, affectionate dog with a big heart and a playful spirit, and I can’t wait to meet my forever family!   My Personality I love people! Whether you’re someone I know or a total stranger, I’ll come right up to you, lean in for pets, and happily soak up all the attention. I enjoy being picked up, cuddled, and scratched—honestly, the more love, the better! My ability to bond with humans is one of my best qualities. I always make eye contact, and if you look at me, I’ll wag my tail as if I’ve been waiting just for you.   How I Get Along with Other Dogs I enjoy meeting and greeting new dog friends and will often invite them to play. I don’t mind sharing space with other dogs, though I once had a brief standoff over treats—but don’t worry, it didn’t last long, and we made up right away! If you already have another dog with a similar energy level, I’d probably love having a sibling to play with. I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d react to them.   My Energy Level I have a balanced energy level. I love outdoor activities and playing, but I also know how to settle down and relax. Sometimes, I start off a little excited, but I calm down quickly. I enjoy walks, though I might pull on the leash a bit at first—I just get excited to explore!   My Good Habits I don’t guard my food from people, but I may give a little grumble if another dog gets too close while I’m eating. Other than that, I’m easygoing and well-mannered. I rarely bark, so I won’t be a noisy housemate. I’m also comfortable in a kennel when needed. When it comes to potty time, I’m flexible—I can use indoor pee pads or go outside. Whatever works best for my new home, I’m happy to adapt!   What I’m Looking for in a Home I would love to be part of a family that enjoys spending time together, whether it’s going for walks, playing, or just relaxing at home. If you already have another dog with a similar energy level, I’d be happy to have a playmate. But if I’m your only dog, that’s okay too—I’ll be more than happy getting all the attention from you!   Special Message I have the strong, muscular build of a true terrier, and while I can be full of energy, I settle down quickly. My biggest joy is being with people—I love affection, eye contact, and just being part of a family.
