My story

Lucky was born and raised in a local foster home, surrounded by dogs, cats and kids. He is 3.5 months old, 30+ lbs and he will be a large breed dog. He is affectionate, timid and very sweet. His foster family is smitten with his wise eyes and kind heart. He is a loveable gentle giant, who likes to play and nap. Lucky is recovering from juvenile cellulitis, a non-contagious, treatable skin condition that affects young puppies. It stems from an immature immune system and although he is definitely on the road to recovery, Lucky may be at risk of other immune conditions in the future. His adopters must be comfortable managing future medical needs as they arise. Rey of Hope Rescue is a locally based dog & cat rescue in Milwaukee serving all of SE Wisconsin.
