My story

Prancer is an adorable almost 1-year-old, 30 lb black Lab mix looking for a loving and patient family to call his own. While he can be a little nervous around new people, with time and understanding, he warms up and becomes the sweetest companion. Prancer is almost fully potty trained and has even learned to ring a bell at the door when he needs to go outside! He’s also a crate pro—sleeping through the night and happily hanging out while his humans are at work or school. He even sneaks in for naps on his own sometimes. When he's not snoozing, Prancer is full of energy! He loves playing with toys and even shares them with his humans so they can join in the fun. Sticks and ice cubes are his absolute favorites, and playing in the snow was the best thing ever! Because of his excitement and playfulness, we recommend a home with kids 8 and up. Prancer is still learning his manners—he sometimes jumps when excited and playfully nips—but he's a smart pup who already knows "sit" and "down." We’re working on "drop it" and "leave it," especially since he loves to steal socks and shoes (don’t worry, he just hides them in his crate, not chew them!). The adoption fee of $300 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
