Meet Raiden, a one year old Siberian Husky/Shepherd mix weighing 82 pounds.Raiden is a big, goofy, blue-eyed sweetheart with a heart just as big as his paws! This happy pup is back with us for the second time in his young life, through no fault of his own.Raiden first came to us from a home overwhelmed with over 50 dogs—far beyond the legal limit. Despite that tough start, he was adopted and began a new chapter. But recently, Animal Control picked him up with three other dogs, and when his former owner could only take one back, Raiden was sadly surrendered again.Through it all, Raiden has remained a joyful, treat-motivated lovebug who just wants to be with his people. He knows the command `sit,` (which her will eagerly do for a treat) sports floppy ears you’ll want to pet all day, and carries the energy and silliness of a big, happy puppy. He’s eager to learn, eager to love, and so deserving of a fresh start that sticks. Speaking of sticks Raiden loves them and will chew on them along with any other toys you have. He might do best in a home without cats but he has gotten along well with other dogs and is very playful. If you`re looking for a loyal goofball who’s ready to leave the past behind and be your best friend forever—Raiden’s your guy. This pet is available for adoption on 8.15.25 at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
