My story

Hi there, I’m Mochi—a three-year-old pup with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. I spent my whole life with one family, and while life threw me a curveball, I’m still the same sweet, gentle guy I’ve always been.The volunteers here? I think they’re amazing—and luckily, the feeling’s mutual. I walk nicely on leash, soak up all the affection they give, and love calm hangouts just as much as zooming around for some fun. I’ve got energy to burn, and I used to love doing agility and running in my old home.My previous family says I’m housetrained (high five for that!), and I’m looking for a cat-free household. Cats just aren’t my jam. But if you`re into outdoor adventures and couch snuggles? We might just be a perfect match.~~~~~The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilco.org. Interested in fostering a dog in need? You can take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours, giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. Program runs daily starting at noon.
