Meet Cassie, a gentle and serene 15.5-year-old Havapoo seeking a forever home where she can thrive in her golden years. Cassie is a sweet and calm 8 pound companion, perfect for a quiet and laid-back household. While she may not be overly affectionate, she appreciates a peaceful environment and will happily co-exist with her owners. Due to her advanced age, Cassie has lost most of her teeth, but her one remaining tooth still shines bright! Her dental situation doesn't slow her down, and she's still enjoying life. Cassie's caregivers have discovered that she's not a fan of crates, but she sleeps soundly in a comfortable x-pen. Within the pen, she's remarkably tidy, keeping her bed dry and using pee pads with ease. With patience and consistency, her new owners can continue to help her maintain good habits. Her groomer reports that her coat is in good condition, and her recent blood work results are reassuringly good. However, she does have the typical senior arthritis in her back legs, which may require some extra care and accommodations. Additionally, Cassie has some trouble hearing and has developed cataracts in her eyes. Recently, she was treated for ear infections, and her caregivers will provide more information on her treatment and any ongoing needs. Despite these challenges, Cassie remains a loving and gentle soul, looking for a home that will provide comfort, understanding, and gentle care.
