My story

Meet Chandler! Chandler is a playful, affectionate, and confident pup who thrives on human attention. If you’re looking for a cuddly best friend, Chandler is your guy, he’ll knock your phone out of your hands just to get more pets and loves being as close to his person as possible. While he has plenty of energy and enjoys exploring, he might love snuggling even more! This treat-catching champion is highly food motivated and quick to learn. He walks well on a leash, though he likes to take his time sniffing everything around him. Chandler is friendly with both people and dogs, though he can get a little too excited and bark or lunge if he isn’t allowed to say hello. He plays well with most dogs but can be a bit vocal if the other dog barks first. He also has a tendency to guard his toys but does well with food sharing. Chandler has been tested with cats and is indifferent to them, making him a good candidate for a home with feline companions. Chandler is house trained and does well in his crate at night, but he struggles with separation anxiety if crated during the day. He does much better when left to free roam, where he’ll typically nap by the door. He is currently working on settling when left alone and improving his leash manners. Because Chandler is physically playful and doesn’t always know his own strength, he would do best in a home without small animals or young children. He also has a loud bark and enjoys “talking” when excited, so a patient adopter who won’t be startled by his enthusiasm would be ideal. If you’re looking for a loving, energetic, and endlessly affectionate companion, Chandler might be the perfect match! Think you might be the right fit to provide a loving home for Chandler?
