URGENT -DEADLINE FOR ADOPTION OR RESCUE WEDNESDAY 5/28, 5:00PMLovable Lani (A878365) is a 1-year-old spayed German Shepherd/Siberian Husky mix with a striking tan coat and a foxy, floofy look that really turns heads! At just 40 lbs, she’s a petite pup with a big personality—and even bigger energy. Lani’s had a few stops on her journey so far, but she’s still holding out for the right match! Her first home found her energy overwhelming, and in her second, she showed some prey drive toward cats and smaller dogs. Out on walks, Lani can be barky and reactive around other dogs, but she’s been working on her leash manners using a Halti-type leash and showing progress. She’s smart, knows `sit`, `down` & `shake`. She is very food-motivated, and eager to please—qualities that make her a great candidate for continued training! She is also a playful girl who loves playing with stuffed toys and splashing in the kiddie pool, and enjoys pets and affection from her people.  Lani’s participated in shelter playgroups, but she’s very particular about her canine friends and may do best as either an only dog or with a well-matched companion. With structure, consistency, and plenty of playtime, Lani will shine! She’s young, enthusiastic, and ready to thrive in a home that can match her energy and meet her needs. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
