My story

Hi, I’m Ms. Athena! I recently had a super fun adventure outside the shelter, and wow—it was the best day ever! I went for a walk in the park with one of my favorite humans. I always did my business outside like a good girl, and I had a blast exploring all the sights and smells.When we met new people, I was so excited—I might’ve gotten a little carried away with my greetings (ok, I pulled a bit on the leash and barked a couple times), but I’m just really happy to meet new friends! My human helped me calm down by giving me treats and asking me to sit, and guess what? I totally got the hang of it! I even started sitting calmly as new people approached. I`m a smart cookie and very treat-motivated.Even though I have lots of energy in the shelter, once we got to the park, all I wanted to do was snuggle up. I’m actually a closet cuddle bug—who knew? I plopped myself in my human’s lap and just soaked up all the love. By the end of the day, I didn’t want to leave their side. I even hugged them for 15 minutes when we got back—I might be a Velcro dog in the making.With my cool camouflage coat and my mismatched eyes (one blue, one brown!), I look like a woodland ninja. If you took me hiking or even hunting, I’d blend right in—except for that little blue eye peeking out!If you`re looking for a pup with playful energy, a huge heart, and a strong snuggle game, I might just be your girl.Love,Ms. Athena
