Mushu

My story

Mushu is an almost 2 year old, 64-pound Akita/Shepherd who is available for adoption at Abandoned Pet Rescue (APR), Fort Lauderdale’s only no-kill animal shelter. Mushu is a gorgeous pup that looks like a teddy bear! He resembles an Akita / Kai Ken mix with his thick black coat and pointy ears. Mushu is timid and shy at first, but he warms up with treats. His name comes from the Disney character in the movie Mulan and both Mushus have charming personalities! He walks well on a leash and he’s quite goofy when he plays. He loves other dogs and feels very comfortable when he walks beside a dog friend. He is about 2-years-old and has fun playing with his toys. Mushu is crate trained, potty trained and fully vetted.
