Big Boi

My story

The coolest doggo in town! Hey hey! My name is Big Boi, and I am 71 lbs, so yeah.... I am a 6 years old, Lab mix, neutered and in good health. I was taken in by TAP to help out Pasadena Humane Society during the LA fires. I have been at my amazing foster home since then and showing off my great pawsonality. I am bathroom and leash trained, although I like to take charge of our walkie routes. ;) but I will always stick by you, even around other dogs. I am a big good boi after all! I know I look big, but inside I am still a babie. I am calm, well-mannered, and one might say....overall pretty lazy. But with occasional bursts of energy, I show how happy I am. I love public displays of  affection and WILL kiss you and ask for pets. I may whine a little when my humans leave the room, but it’s never too loud or disruptive—just a gentle reminder that I love being around you! I am very friendly and patient with other dogs. I have no problem with cats—though, being a big guy, I may look a bit intimidating, I just want the cats to give me a chance! I havent been around kids, but I dont have a mean bone in my body. Just big bones though that may knock down a kid or two in fun and play. I love treats and foods, and then romping about to explore. And then it's snoozefest while you watch TV and we can couch rot for hours!  A true mellow, affectionate companion, I pawmise you will absolutely adore me! My foster dad's words: "I’ve never met a more compassionate and lovable dog! He has a personality unlike any other and is sure to steal your heart. He truly deserves the very best family!" The best home for me would have a nice mix of staying in for snuggles and TV time, as well as exploring the world one or two times a week. I'd be more than happy to have friends and family around—as I am a social guy! This big boi would be great with other dogs and kids too.
