Sex: MaleBreed: Chihuahua Estimated Date of Birth : 09/01/2024This little guy with the fabulous markings is all Chihuahua all of the time. Meet Ash! With his beautiful Merle coat we guarantee you’re going to look. He’s a stunning little guy with the sass and spunk you’d expect in a chihuahua pup. He thinks he’s larger than life but the moment you pick him up he melts right into your arms becoming the sweetest of cuddle bugs. He’s definitely got that chihuahua voice down and will alert you to all potential dangers including all those big dogs who are soooo scary. We suppose when you’re just a little guy big things are naturally going to be a bit overwhelming. But puppies learn fast and Ash is at the perfect age to experience the world and learn to navigate the unknown. Ash had a rough start to life. He and 3 other similarly colored chihuahuas were thrown over a local Kern County elementary school yard fence. We suspect his previous family was breeding these Merle chihuahuas and when they couldn’t sell them they disposed of them. Everyone was saved and brought to rescue. Ash and Autumn, who we believe is his mother, went to the same foster home. Ash is blossoming in foster care and learning all the things he needs to be an amazing adult dog. He’s definitely a puppy and likes to chew, nibble and get into things. He’s working on his house training manners and leash skills. He’s already mastered the doggie door and with time and patience will get those house training skills down. He loves toys and loves playing with both the humans and small dogs in his foster home. He thinks his legs are the best toys ever and uses them to swat the other dogs during play sessions. He’s goofy and fun with just the right amount of spice mixed in. When he’s not entertaining everyone with his puppy antics you’ll find him fast asleep with the closest human or dog he can snuggle.
