Meet Kenny G – From the Brink of Death to a Thriving, Playful Powerhouse Kenny G’s story is one of resilience. He was found abandoned in a field, emaciated and barely clinging to life. But today? He’s a picture of health—strong, energetic, and full of love, ready to find his forever home. This big, athletic boy is always up for an adventure. Whether it’s a long walk, a game of fetch, or a round of tug-of-war, he’s happiest when he’s moving. He’s smart and eager to please, already mastering commands like sit, shake, down, stay, leave it, and up. Training sessions are one of his favorite activities, especially when treats are involved. Kenny G is a social guy who loves meeting people and wants to be part of whatever you’re doing. If you leave your coffee unattended, he just might sneak the last sip—he’s got a playful, mischievous side that keeps life interesting. If he ever feels left out, he might grab a shoe or a pillow just to get your attention, but he’s learning that patience brings even better rewards. At 80 pounds and still growing, he needs a strong handler who can provide structure, consistency, and plenty of exercise. He’s friendly with other dogs when introduced slowly but would do best in a home without small children—he’s still learning how to manage his size and enthusiasm. In the house, Kenny G is well-mannered, house-trained, and trustworthy when left uncrated. He’s shown curiosity toward smaller animals but hasn’t had much experience with cats. Kenny G has already overcome so much, and now he’s ready for the next chapter. He needs a home that will appreciate his energy, intelligence, and playful spirit. If you’re looking for a devoted, trainable companion who will keep you active and entertained, Kenny G is your guy. Adoption is $275, which includes spay/neuter at our vet, vaccines, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health. Although we work to potty train all of our dogs, we cannot guarantee full house training before adoption. Regression is a normal part of transitioning to a new home.
