My story

Toasty is a professional tough guy… or at least, that’s what he wants you to believe! He might greet you with a little hiss or two when you go to pet him, but don’t be fooled—this is all part of his act. Even while he's leaning into those oh-so-good head scratches, he might throw in a dramatic "hiss" just to keep up appearances. But stop petting him? Oh no, sir! He’ll nudge your hand right back like, “Hey, I didn’t say stop!” When he’s feeling extra relaxed, he even drools a little (adorable, right?). He’s a sucker for chin rubs and ear scratches, and he’ll accept affection from just about anyone, even strangers—after his signature tough-guy routine, of course. He’s not the biggest fan of being picked up, but he’s perfectly happy to lounge around and soak up all the love. Toys? Meh. Not really his thing. But every now and then, if he's already lying down getting scratches, he might bat at your hand just to remind you he can be playful if he wants to be. Most of the time, though, he’s a low-key guy who prefers napping, relaxing, and being adored. Toasty would love a home where he has his own space to settle in. He can be a little nervous around loud, zooming kids, but he’s not dramatic about it—he just tucks himself away in a cozy corner and waits for the excitement to pass. With a little patience, some space to chill, and plenty of pets, Toasty will be the king of your heart (even if he insists on acting like a tough guy now and then).
