My story

DOB September 12, 2024 Meet Wyatt – Your Future Snuggle Buddy! Wyatt is an affectionate little sweetheart who wants nothing more than to be close to his people. A true lap cat, he’ll happily curl up with you for cuddles day or night. When he’s not snuggling, Wyatt loves to play—he’s especially fond of chasing toys and playing fetch with springs! He’s also a social kitten who enjoys wrestling and romping around with his foster friends. Because he tends to get lonely without a kitty friend & thrives on feline companionship, Wyatt needs a home with another playful kitty to keep him company. He’s a great eater—maybe a little too enthusiastic sometimes—so a slow feeder mat can help him pace himself. If you're looking for a sweet, playful, and affectionate companion, Wyatt could be the perfect match! Little Wyatt does have a heart health concern, which for now needs no intervention. He has been diagnosed with a rare congenital structural problem known as Double Chamber Right Ventricle (DCRV). As a result, his life expectancy will likely be between 2-11 years, and he will require regular check-ups with the cardiologist (approximately every 6 months). As he continues to grow, they will be able to see how he is progressing. Medication is currently not recommended, however daily medication would be introduced at the onset of congestive heart failure. Thank you for welcoming a special needs cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice is appreciated, vs. our standard kitten adoption fee of $300.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Wyatt, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
