My story

Meet Terry, a young and energetic dog with a heart full of love and excitement. She`s always ready for a game of tug and also likes running, toys, and water. Terry weighs 14 pounds and is leash trained and loves going for walks, her excitement for the world around her is infectious. She`ll need help with her house training though. Despite her playful energy, Terry also loves to curl up on a lap and enjoy some quiet time. She admits that she is needy and loves being petted. Her lovable nature and need for companionship make her a great family pet. She`s quite the chatterbox, with a bark that`s filled with enthusiasm and curiosity. She`s a natural explorer, always digging around, trying to uncover hidden treasures. Terry`s jumpy, lively nature is a testament to her spirited personality. Her friendly, playful nature makes her the perfect playmate for both other dogs and children but she`ll need to live with kids at least 10 years old because of her distrust of new people. She`ll need a slow introduction to dogs and people. She was given up because her family couldn`t provide her with the attention she needs. Terry should be adopted because her boundless energy, friendly demeanor, and love for people make her the perfect addition to a home looking for a loyal and loving companion. (tw 5/31/2025)

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Terry, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
