My story

Meet the Cats of Gettysburg at the Kitty Corner by Forever Love Rescue LOYAL AND SWEET Meow! My name is Wyatt. My estimated date of birth is 8/18/2014. I have the appearance of a well-loved teddy bear! Just like a teddy bear, I am lovable and soft. I like being petted and enjoy receiving attention. I am very gentle and even-tempered. Even though I'm a senior, I still like to play! I occasionally enjoy toys (but I play a little slower than my feline friends do). I am very loyal. I am curious and quiet. I need time to adjust to new environments. I'm from Forever Love Rescue's Vacant House Project in 2024. I was found very sickly, but I refused to give up! With a combination of medicine and TLC from my foster, I recovered and began to flourish. I am FIV positive. I am good with other cats. I have never been around dogs or young children. I would make the most loyal and loving companion once given my "turn in the spotlight" in a forever home of my own! I am at the Kitty Corner, you can find me in our FIV+ Adoption room! Please note that while we work hard to keep our available cats up to date we also have many  that are not posted yet.  Adoption fees are $60 for adult cats and kittens over 6 months old, $100 for kittens (under 6 months) and $30 for senior cats (7 years+) to help cover vet bills for spay/neuter, basic vaccinations, testing, microchips and preventatives.  No cat will be officially adopted without being spayed/neutered and vaccinated (unless there are health risks in doing so).  We highly recommend adopting kittens in pairs and we do discount for double adoptions here to encourage it.   We are always in need of donations to help us continue to save hundreds of cats and kittens every year.  Visit bit.ly/DonateFLR for more info.
