Meet Boomer – Your New Best Friend! DOB: 6/01/2023 Weight: 70lbs Boomer is a stunning brindle boy with a heart as big as his paws! Originally adopted from a neighbor’s unexpected litter, he’s grown up in a loving home with another fur brother, where he’s been a loyal companion. As his human family expanded to include a newborn, Boomer has been nothing but sweet, gentle and playful. However, due to his enthusiastic nature and larger size, his family feels he’d thrive best in a home with older children who can keep up with his energy and won’t be easily knocked over by his playful zoomies.  Right now, Boomer's family is in a busy season of life and often away from home, which means Boomer is spending more time in his kennel than he is out adventuring and exploring like he loves. After much thought, they’ve made the difficult and selfless decision to find him a home that can offer more time, freedom, and attention than they’re currently able to give. Boomer is a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs. While we haven’t seen him around cats yet, his friendly demeanor suggests he might do just fine with a proper introduction. He’s both crate trained and housebroken – a true gentleman! Boomer would be happiest in an active home where he can enjoy walks, playtime, and plenty of love - and treats. He’s already neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm negative – all ready to begin his next adventure with you.
