My story
Paperclip is a handsome black-and-white boy with a sleek, shiny coat and a lab-like look. On a recent outing, he was a perfect gentleman—calm, patient, and well-behaved. He allows people to bathe him without fuss, rides quietly in the car, and stays relaxed in new situations. He walks well on a leash, sits politely, and takes treats gently. He greets strangers with friendly curiosity. In the play yard, he wasn’t too interested in toys but had a blast chasing reflections of light—a funny and endearing quirk. Friendly, mellow, and has an independent, tolerant approach to other dogs. Paperclip tugs at our hearts because he seems so sad at times.
