Trevor (FCID# 11/11/2024 - 3) C

My story

Cat-Friendly!!  This big boy is Trevor, a cat that personifies sweetness and bravery.   Trevor is a very special cat. He is super chill, and exceptionally people-oriented and loving. When we brought him to his current foster home, he was perfectly at home within minutes and asking to be loved. This big boy, around 12 pounds of pure love and adoration, always wants to be around his people. When Trevor meets other cats, he approaches them and gives a friendly churring sound as greeting. He would do great in a home with other cats, provided you can feed them separately (see below). He is extremely even-tempered and should do fine with children and/or dogs. He is moderately talkative, chatting with cute little churrs and trills. Trevor thoroughly enjoys watching the bird feeders outside the window and enjoys watching bird videos on a phone or tablet. Trevor has been through a lot with Forgotten Cats. He required eyelid surgery to keep his eyelid from turning in and scratching his eye. During recovery, it was discovered that he was having diarrhea. All tests have been negative. He may require a special diet. In his most recent foster home, away from the stress of a cage, he has been doing somewhat better. Just this past week (3/28/25) we switched him from a prescription diet to Iams Hairball Care (high fiber diet, but sold in stores). It has gone well, and the plan is to see if he can be transitioned to a normal diet, but at this point we have no way ofknowing if he will tolerate regular adult cat food. That said, Trevor has perfect litterbox manners. So, his sensitive tummy doesn’t cause any mess. He would love to get all these stressful transitions over with and work on figuring out his diet in his forever home! He has a heart of gold and deserves a forever home where his sweet, brave, and loyal nature will be cherished. Let his loving eyes light up your life!
