My story

This little stuffed bear of a puppy is Teddy! He's a thoughtful, loving boy who is looking for someone to be his forever best friend. That's a job that requires a lot of snuggling! If you think you might be up for it, watch Teddy's video here: https://youtu.be/wUShYFHljBY At 4 months old and about 30 lbs, Teddy is from a big litter of happy, healthy puppies who wrestle and nibble each other, share each other's toys, and discover the world together. Of all his siblings, Teddy is the follower. He's interested in whatever toy his siblings have. And he trots after them to see whatever they're up to. He relies on his pals both for fun and for confidence. He relies on humans too! Teddy loves and trusts people, and looks to them for reassurance and encouragement. He can be a big baby and loves to be cuddled and held. Give Teddy a little squeeze and you can feel his appreciation. It'll melt your heart! A constant source of entertainment, Teddy has his quirks! He plays with his food. He sometimes spaces out for a moment, and might take a sec to realize that you've just thrown his ball! He can be the most perfect little dork and we love every minute of it! Teddy gets along great with other dogs. His best friends include his litter mates, his mom, and his foster grandma dog, who gently teaches him boundaries and manners. He's respectful of her corrections, the good boy. He learns from humans too, of course. Teddy already knows how to sit for treats and is learning to sit like a gentleman when he wants to be held too. His desire to please people makes him an ideal dog to train. We think the S'mores litter might be a mix of lab and pittie, but with rescues we're always just guessing. What we know for sure is that they're going to grow up to be fantastic family dogs. They're off to a great start with a safe and loving foster home. They are already crate trained, know "sit," and are working on their leash skills. They're learning about yummy treats like filled kongs and pup cups while on their many adventures. Teddy is ready to explore and go on adventures. He'd like to start with neighborhood walks to smell all the new things. He will count on his new forever person to show him the world is a safe and fun place! And if he has a doggy sibling to show him the way, that's a bonus for his confidence! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $900.00 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW or the NE at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations.
