Hi, I`m Wednesday! About me: I am such a sweetheart and would love to find a home where I can get all the love and affection I deserve. My nature is very sweet and calm but I can be timid at first with people and other animals. I warm up nicely with time and space. I love to curl up by my fosters feet and I love to push myself through their legs in order to get all the bum scratches I can! I get a little nervous when people try to pet my head but I love to be pet everywhere else and I am learning to love ear scratches too. I know my basic commands like sit, down, come and stay but I could use some help learning not to jump up. I love to give you hugs when you walk in the door! I enjoy getting out and exploring the world but I pull on my leash because I am so excited so I will need someone to teach me how to walk nicely. I sleep well at night, have never had an accident in the house, and can be left alone while you are at work with no issues. Likes: I love playing with my bones! I will throw it up in the air and pounce on it and wag my tail like it`s the best thing in the world! I also love going for walks and car rides and I love to steal licks from the butter dish if you forget to put it away! Dislikes: I don`t like loud noises or being closed up in a small room. Special request: I need my new home to be patient while I adjust to my new surroundings. I may bark a lot at first and seem uninterested but I promise you I will be the sweetest companion and the calmest dog that curls at your feet once I have adjusted to my new life and feel safe in my new home. Kennel trained: not neededHousetrained: yes Dogs: I am nervous around new dogs and I can sometimes bark and growl. I am not an aggressive dog but I like my space while I am getting used to things. With time and patience we can work it out. My foster brother and I didn`t get along at first. But we do now and he actually makes me more calm and confident! Cats: cats are new to me and because I am quite timid and fearful, I like to bark at them. I don`t want to hurt them and I do think we could get along eventually but my barking may scare your cat until I get used to it being around. Children: Yes! I appreciate it when kids let me come to them but I am the sweetest little friend once we get comfortable with each other. I currently sleep with one of the kids in my foster home.
