Care Bear

My story

Care Bear is a fabulous dog. She went on a sleepover with two of our foster volunteers and that was all it took to see what a happy, sweet, affectionate, and fun companion she is. She is house trained, enjoys brisk neighborhood walks, car rides, golf cart rides, being bathed, being brushed and petted, giving kisses, and being with you. She knows her basic obedience, including sit and down. When you are on the sofa, she will be by your side. She is a loyal dog who will sleep curled up in bed with you. She leans into you when you pet her and she wags her stubby little tail with happiness. Care Bear is a medium energy dog indoors, and playful outdoors. It was fun to see how willing Care Bear was to try new things - jumping into the golf cart for a ride around Sun City, walking into the shower for her bath, and hopping into the car and settling in the back seat for a ride. She never had an indoor accident during her sleepover, she went potty on her walk and in the backyard. Care Bear has a video showing how great she did in her foster home, please click on the blue `play` under her three photos. Care Bear likes to show her joy by jumping up. Because of this, we are requiring that any children in her new home are age 10 or older. Care Bear does not like the company of other dogs, so she is required to be the only dog in her new home.
