My story

Jermanie aka "Buddy" is in a foster home and available for adoption. To get in touch with his foster parent, apply for his adoption above! Here's what his foster parent has to say: "Buddy loves other dogs and enjoys playing and running around with them. He also gets along well with the cat in his foster home. While his excitement can sometimes be a bit much for the cat, he has never hurt him. Buddy can be a little skittish around men at first but warms up fairly quickly. When it comes to women, he’s all in—Buddy loves the ladies. He has spent time around preteens and teenagers and enjoys the attention they give him. While he hasn’t had much interaction with smaller children, he can be a little fearful at times, so a home with older kids would likely be the best fit. Buddy is sometimes housetrained and has a medium energy level, striking a balance between playful adventures and relaxed couch time. He knows how to sit and is very smart, so with consistent training, he could easily pick up more commands. Although Buddy is currently terrified of the leash, he is working on it and making progress. He does not get car sick. Buddy is just beginning to come into his own. When he first arrived, he was very fearful, but he quickly bonded with the other dogs in the home. Watching them helped him realize that human attention can actually be pretty great. He now enjoys playing outside with his dog friends and would do best in a home with other dogs and a yard where he can run and play. Though Buddy is still building his confidence and will tuck his tail when scared, a cheerful call of his name usually brings him over wagging his tail, ready for some ear scratches. He’s a sweet, smart pup who needs a patient family to help him continue growing into the best boy he can be."
