Happy, loving, goofy, a total lovebug and a collector of great snuggles, Fiona is a never ending source sweetness, love, and comfort. Fiona is estimated to be just one year old, and already she has a taste for the finer things in life- a warm bed, a comfy set of jimjams, and booty scritches are some of her favorite things. Sweet Fi has the most beautiful markings, fit for a princess like herself! She appears to have stunning black lipstick, and the cutest eyeliner with these little dots right under her pupils that really draw you in. We believe she is a Pittie mix, and an itty bitty Pittie mix at that! She weighs in at a delicate 45 pounds. Fiona is a rescue, her exact age and breed are a bit of a mystery- but these are our best guesses! Fall in love with Sweet Fi here: https://youtu.be/B7HqL-yzOWw?si=9cHp1-nF_Xh2DXLf With her humans, Fiona is a sweet and perfect snuggle companion. She’s all hugs and kisses, and likes to perch her paws on your lap and streeeetch her neck up to give you face kisses. She loves loves loves being in the house, she’s a huge fan of rolling around on your bed, or burrowing into your couch. She loves to hide behind throw pillows and ceremoniously un-make the bed with bright eyes and an infectious joy about her. Fiona is affectionate from the moment you meet her, she can be a little nervous with new environments, but seeks comfort in the affection of the nearest human. She’ll approach quietly and press her head into your chest in a hug, it’s the sweetest thing. In her foster home, Fiona pranced around all day in pjs, she definitely has a taste for “house dog life.” Like many in her breed category, she’s a total house hippo type with an affinity for the luxuries that come with a loving home. Her foster mom comments that she loves ball, she’s a total toy lover and tennis balls are her favorite. She also has the cutest little bouncy run that comes out at playtime! Fiona is still learning leash confidence, but she responds really well to direction on leash and sticks with her handler. With a little practice with her adoptive pawrents, she will make a perfect walking companion in no time! She goes into her kennel quietly for a little treat, and here at the rescue she doesn’t have accidents inside the house! Fiona is ready for her forever home, we think she could do well in a house with a backyard. At this point in her journey, we do recommend Fiona for an only-pet home with no children. We are willing to test Fiona with anything you need us to in order to ensure he is the perfect match for you! We can make most anything happen! Just let us know. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: ● Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family ● Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test ● 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion ● A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions ● 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription ● Coupons for a fun visit to Petco ● 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions ● Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer ● Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission! Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time. https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
