Wally

My story

Wally's life started with neglect and abandonment. He was found left behind in a Walmart parking lot, still dragging a worn rope attached to his collar, and suffering from an untreated chest wound. It's likely he spent much of his early life tied outside without proper care. After receiving veterinary treatment and time to heal, Wally has moved forward and is thriving in foster care. Today, Wally is a well-mannered, loyal young German Shepherd. He is house-trained, leash-trained, and trusted loose indoors without issue. Wally is active, playful, and affectionate with his person, though he may be initially cautious around men and children. He is intelligent, eager to learn, and would do best with a secure fenced yard, as he enjoys exploring. Wally gets along well with most dogs but is still learning to manage his excitement around small animals (he has not been cat tested). He is currently being fostered in Southwest Pennsylvania and is ready to find a home that will give him the stability he deserves.
