Toby

My story

Lovingly known as Tiny Toby, this once scraggly, starving boy is tiny no more! Toby was found hairless and wandering the streets of the Rio Grande Valley (RGV) in search of food. Though initially cautious of humans, he allowed a kind woman to load him into her car. Unfortunately, she could only hold him for one day and urgently needed help. We stepped in, and Toby has since blossomed into one of the most stunning dogs! With his gorgeous brindle coat and gentle, kind demeanor, he’s a true transformation story. Now living in Virginia, Toby enjoys wrestling and napping with his big foster sister, running around in the yard, playing fetch, and snuggling on the couch. He is astute and an excellent guard dog. He is curious of cats and needs more training before he can be cat cleared. Still learning to walk on the leash but treat motivated. Dislikes: the crate, the vacuum, bubbles. If you’re looking for a gentle, beautiful dog to join your family, Toby might just be the one!
