My story

🐾 Meet Hattie – Your Next Best Friend 🐾 Hattie is a 35-lb, 1.5-year-old petite sweetheart with the best ears in the game and a heart full of love. She’s currently in a professional training program, and our goal is to find her forever home by the time she graduates in just a couple of weeks! That way, her new family can step right into the journey and enjoy all the life skills she’s been building—including off-leash recall so she can safely run free on adventures. Hattie entered training after experiencing some challenges with another dog in the past, but we’re happy to share that she hasn’t shown any issues since and is thriving with the extra support. What Makes Hattie Special: • Balanced energy – Loves to play, walk trails, and go on errands, but just as happy to snuggle up and relax. • Adventure-ready – She’s going camping and hiking at Hanging Rock to build even more confidence in new environments. • Off-leash superstar – Will come when called and walk by your side with ease. • Petite package – 35 lbs, easy traveler, crate-trained, and rides well in the car. • Dog social – Gets along great with other dogs and loves meeting new people. • Skills included – Sit, down, come, walk politely, and advanced off-leash reliability. (Cat testing available if needed.) Lifestyle Fit: Hattie would thrive in a home that enjoys medium-energy living—someone who loves walks, short hikes, or a day trip here and there, but also values cozy evenings at home. She’s a great errand buddy, a fantastic outdoor companion, and a world-class snuggler. The Bonus: Her trainer is committed to setting her new family up for success. That means: āœ”ļø Multiple transition lessons included so you learn her skills and keep building on her progress āœ”ļø Guidance and support while she’s still in training and after she goes home How to Meet Hattie: If you think Hattie could be the one—or know someone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime companion—please reach out! We’d love to schedule a meet-and-greet, have you fill out an application, and join us on her journey while she’s still in training. Hattie is ready for a lifetime of adventure—big or small—with her forever family. Could that be you? šŸ“© Message us to learn more or apply!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Hattie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
