My story

Meet Macy, a quiet little soul with a big heart.This gentle, shy girl came to us back in February from our friends in Grand Isle, where she had been living a life that didn’t include soft beds, steady meals, or the safety of four walls. Now about 2 years old, Macy is learning that indoor life isn’t just good it’s THE life.She’s been lucky enough to land in a foster home with another cat mentor who’s showing her the ropes: how to chase sunbeams across the floor, claim the comfiest spot on the couch, and most importantly how to trust the humans who love her.Macy is cautious at first, but never unkind. She’s more of a “watch from a safe spot” kind of gal until she feels sure, and then her soft side starts to peek through. She thrives with other cats and would shine brightest in a home with a feline friend to be her guide, confidante, and partner in crime.She’s up to date on vaccines, combo tested negative, microchipped and ready for the next chapter in her life.If your cat needs a sweet sidekick, a partner in play, or a hype girl to cheer them on, complete an application at www.zeusrescues.org.
