My story

Tiger is a handsome, shy boy with a stunning brindle coat and soulful eyes that tell a story. At just 2 years old, he’s a lower-energy pup who enjoys the simple things in life—car rides, quiet walks, and playtime with his favorite stuffie toys.Tiger may be a little reserved when you first meet him, but once he trusts you, his playful and cuddly side shines. He loves playing catch and will happily entertain himself with toys. Treats are the way to his heart, and patience is the key to earning his trust.He’s done well meeting other dogs but is still working on building confidence around them. Slow introductions with calm, gentle playmates are recommended. Tiger is especially suited for a quiet, predictable home where he can relax and feel safe. He’d thrive with homebodies or folks who enjoy peaceful walks or hikes in remote areas.While large crowds, loud music, and busy streets make Tiger nervous, he’s surprisingly calm around bikes, strollers, skateboards, and children running by. He’s very friendly toward men and shows no reactivity to dogs from a distance.Tiger sometimes “freezes” when overwhelmed and needs a calm, understanding human to give him time and space. But once comfortable, he’s affectionate, playful, and the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a sensitive, loyal soul.If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key companion who will bond deeply once he feels safe, Tiger might just be your perfect match.
