My story

Hi! I'm Banana Mania (aka Smiley - see picture 9) and I am here to steal your heart... and maybe some of your peanut butter. I’m a gentle, affectionate boy who adores snuggles, but I’m just as happy to lounge on the couch and hold down the fort while you’re out or at work. Walks are my love language - I do happy little tippy taps and smile BIG when I see my leash come out (...or whenever I get snacks). Here's what you should know about me: Professional Napper: I LOVE naps. I can take them anywhere and sometimes will snore or groan if I'm having a good dream deep in rem Polite & Low maintenance: I am fully potty-trained, not destructive AT ALL, and totally adaptable to your schedule - happy to nap while you are at work or happy to go on walks and play when you are home  Dog-friendly vibe: I love to play with other dogs! I get so excited to see other 4-legged friends on walks, though am also happy to just do my own thing (very New York of me) Easygoing Energy: My foster mom says I am the happiest dog she has ever seen. I just love humans so much and love to hang out and lounge around in calm environments  If you are looking for an easy going, adaptable best friend, I am your guy! I love peanut butter, butt scratches, sunbathing, and singing along to the sound of firetrucks. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We are unable to contact every applicant for every dog.  We will select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dogs needs.
