Sida

My story

Sida came into the shelter due to housing restrictions - her former owner loved her, but they were moving and unable to take her along. Her former owner feels she's a great cat and she will make someone a nice companion. Sida very shy at first, but she's a really sweet girl. She just needs a good bit of time to come around to new situations. She's warmed up to a few people here at the shelter who either clean frequently or sit with her on a regular basis. She seems to be won over best with treats and catnip, and lots of patience. But once she trusts you, she's an absolute love. Enjoys head scratches, and will flop on her side for catnip. She hasn't come down to sit with us quite yet, but we think in a home where she's less stressed, she would do so much more willingly. We're not really sure if she'd be a lap cat, but she does seem to enjoy human companions once she trusts them! She's looking for a quiet home where she can be your only pet.
