My story

This stunning black and white Great Dane mix is as unforgettable as her namesake. Edna first came to the shelter as a stray and quickly won hearts with her sleek black and white coat and sweet personality—so much so that she was adopted in no time. Unfortunately, after just eight weeks, she was returned due to issues with the resident cats and some separation anxiety, which her adopters had been managing .Edna is a smart, sensitive girl who thrives on human connection. She knows her basic cues like sit, lay down, and paw and is always eager to show them off. While she can be reactive in her kennel or around other barriers, once she’s out and about, her sweet side shines. In playgroups with other dogs, she starts off a bit awkward but warms up and has shown she can engage in playful interactions. She’ll happily rub up against your legs, leaning in for affection.She may take a little extra time to warm up, especially with men, but with patience and a gentle approach, Edna can build that trust. She`s looking for a cat-free home where she can be part of a loving, stable environment. With continued support and consistency, Edna Mode will make an incredibly loyal and affectionate companion.No capes, just cuddles—Edna Mode is ready for her forever home.
