Mama

My story

Meet Mama! She resides in our FeLV Suite at Kitten Rescue, and you can follow her and her Suitemates on Instagram and Facebook at "FeLV Cats of Kitten Rescue". Mama is a sweet and calm presence in the otherwise wild and crazy Suite. She came to us when a generous rescuer pulled her from a parking lot where she had been living in for a few years, and then we found she was FeLV positive. We love having Mama in the Suite, but we want her to find a loving forever home. She can co-exist with other cats, but would probably do better as a solo kitty. And Mama is quite shy in new situations and with new people so she will need patient humans who can give her the time she needs to adjust. Once she does feel comfortable, she will happily sit on laps and cuddle affectionately. As we mentioned, Mama is quite sweet, and while she can be a little playful here and there, her general presence is one of calming beauty.
