My story

Leah is a beautiful cat that came to us for shelter during the hurricane of 2023. She was still lactating but sadly we saw no kittens with her. When she first came to our yard, she was still a little hesitant around humans, but slowly she has developed into an extremely sweet cat that loves belly rubs. Of course, they can only last so long before she wants to play again. She loves to pounce and play, which doesn't go well with our senior cats. She would probably do well with kittens. I also have two senior dogs that will walk past her and she doesn't seem to really mind them or vice versa. She's a bit goofy. Loves to roll around the floor and sit in the most random locations, including on top of our television. Definitely a kitten at heart. She loves to eat and will try to eat our other cats' leftovers if they leave any. She's definitely a character and will secretly munch on some kibble if the bag is accessible. Overall, she's a wonderful cat that would do great in a household with young kittens and children. She seems to be comfortable with strangers as well, as she won't run and hide if there are visitors. She never scratches, unless she feels threatened. She lets us carry her and kiss her. She's definitely ready for her forever home! Please contact the foster at johanna.vi@icloud.com

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Leah, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
