Heeju

My story

Heeju is a young dog who, despite her early hardships, has shown incredible resilience and love. She was rescued from a shelter where euthanasia was being considered, and her only “flaw” was the tear stains on her face, which made it hard for her to find an adopter. Seeing how difficult her time in the shelter was, we decided to rescue her. Heeju is currently being cared for with eye drops and eye cleaning solutions to manage her tear stains and possible eye irritation. Despite her past, Heeju is a sweet and friendly dog who loves being around people and gets along well with other dogs. She's not overly active but enjoys spending time with her canine friends in her own way—she's got her own "my way" style when it comes to playtime! Heeju is affectionate and loving with everyone—adults, kids, and even strangers. She enjoys walks and behaves wonderfully on a leash, walking calmly without pulling or barking. Heeju also loves car rides and will happily travel with you, making her an easy companion on the go. She is comfortable being left alone and doesn’t suffer from separation anxiety, which makes her great for various living situations. Although Heeju enjoys having her head petted, she can be a bit sensitive around her rear end at first. However, once she gets to know you, she will be comfortable with gentle touches all over her body. Heeju isn’t a fan of water, so swimming is not something she enjoys, but she has plenty of other ways to have fun! During walks, Heeju loves to interact with people and other dogs. She can get excited and will occasionally bark when she's happy, which is her way of expressing joy. Heeju is ready to meet her new family and share her warm and loving personality. She’s looking for a forever home where she can be cherished and loved for the rest of her life. Could you be the one to offer her that special place?
