My story

Hello there, I`m Canelo! As a senior dog, I`ve mastered the art of being a perfect companion. My sweet and friendly nature is sure to win you over. I`m also a bit of a goofball, which keeps things fun and lively. My gentle demeanor makes me great company for quiet evenings at home. I`m also quite smart! I`ve mastered `sit` and `shake`, and I`m always eager to learn more. My face? Well, let`s just say it`s squishy and perfect for smooching. I`m ready to share my love and loyalty with a forever family. Why should you adopt me? Well, I promise to fill your life with laughter, love, and endless tail wags. Borrow-A-Buddy Testimonial: I took Canelo to a nursing home to visit the residents, and he was an absolute delight! He loved being petted and even rolled over for some belly rubs. The residents adored him and couldn`t get over how adorable he is. Despite being 8 years old, Canelo still has plenty of energy-he hops in and out of the car with ease and enjoys every outing to the fullest!FOSTER REASON: I hurt one of my legs and now have a limp that my doctors are concerned about. They weren`t able to find anything on x-rays but they need a foster to keep a close eye on me while I recover.
