My story

Hi! My name is Scooby and I’m at the Santa Barbara Campus. I’m a 8 month old male Hound/Great Dane mix who is eager for a new home! I was originally brought into SBH from Fresno where my siblings and I were found as strays at the ripe age of 3 months! I was adopted and brought back recently due to housing issues and unfortunately I wasn't really taught to do much. Now I'm a big fella and sometimes I don't always know how big I am! I'm clumsy, I bump into things a lot, and I've fallen flat on my face a few times while playing. But that doesn't mean I'm a total goober, I'm just a lover boy who happens to be a bit taller than the rest of my classmates and need someone to help navigate the rest of my puppyhood and help me start adulthood. I play well with other dogs, have lived with teenagers, and friends here are still trying to teach me how to sit as I haven't quite navigated that one yet. I hope my future person can teach me the basics and we can venture on quests together! Interested in meeting me? Adoption Centers are open daily 12-4:30pm, closed Wednesdays.
