My story

Meet Aphrodite!  Aphrodite is a sweet and playful girl who lights up when she sees a potential new doggy friend! We think she would definitely be happiest in a home with another dog or two around, but as long as she can have doggy playdates often, she might do okay as your only girl.  Aphrodite has taken part in a few events and has experience around children, so she may do well as a family dog! She has an overall gentle demeanor, which would make her fairly easy to incorporate into a new environment.  Call the Ranch to come meet her today!   Rescue Ranch puppies are raised through our puppy foster program. They will have met adults, children, often other dogs, maybe cats. 16-week or older puppies will have taken part in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events. When they are at least 8 weeks old, puppies are given a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian.  Before going home, all puppies will have been dewormed and received all age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper, and Bordetella. If they are 4 months or older they will also have their rabies vaccination. All p uppies are also microchipped and registered with  911PetChip . We require spay/neutering of puppies at 6-8 months old (or the appropriate age for giant breeds)  by our veterinarian. The procedure is covered by the adoption fee. Alternatively, adopters can choose to have the procedure done by their own vet (proof required),  and a portion of the cost will be refunded.    All of our dogs receive the best in veterinary care and are spay/neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and fully vaccinated.  The standard adoption donation fee for all dogs and puppies is $300 (unless a reduced fee applies )  APPLY NOW       August 1, 2025, 7:07 pm
